A licensed technician uses a compact, portable machine to target low energy x-ray beams specifically at the site of your cancer. Radiant Aura only penetrates superficially, right where it’s needed—without affecting healthy skin and under-lying tissue. And you can receive treatment in whatever position you find comfortable.
While your exact treatment schedule will depend on your diagnosis and condition, most Radiant Aura treatments only take a few minutes and are scheduled at Dr. Becker’s Bonney Lake office, two to five times a week, for a period of a few weeks.
Most patients will experience some redness around the treated area, like a sunburn after your treatment ends, the affected area will gradually heal as new, healthy skin develops underneath it.
